NYMACC is a professional development network for arts center administrators. NYMACC's mission is to strengthen and promote multi-arts centers statewide. NYMACC's ambition is to bring art into the lives of every New Yorker and encourage national associates endeavoring to do the same for their States.
Multi-arts centers are community-based centers providing a wide range of quality arts programming to their public and educational opportunities for both emerging and established artists.
While sharing a common basic mission, each NYMACC member center uniquely defines itself through its immediate community, facilities, and programs. Anchored in every region of New York State, NYMACC centers are positioned to touch and enrich lives within and beyond our State's borders.
NYMACC encourages the personal growth of arts administrators by providing professional training, mentoring, peer support, and other customized programs to boards and staff. This support brings NYMACCers increased enjoyment in their work life and enhances the success of their centers. NYMACC member benefits provide their member organizations with reduced rates for legal, financial, insurance services, and select affilate nonprofit training programs.
